WELCOME TO COPENHAGEN,
WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF ETHICAL
AND INDEPENDENT VOLLEY BALL (Lausanne, November 24, 2006) - The first congress of the FIABVB (Federation of Associations of Beach volley ball and Volley ball, in formation) proceeds in Copenhagen, capital of Denmark, the 24 to November 26. National federations (new or made up), professional associations, clubs, athletes or amateurs, organizers of competitions, sponsors, businessmen, technicians and trainers, academics, media: they are some eighty founder members founder members, people public or prived, who responded the call and to the initiative of Jean-Pierre Seppey and his team. Resulting from the beach like traditional volleyball, coming from the five continents, all these participants have the passion of the sport in common, an ethical ideal, ambitious objectives as regards North-South solidarity, and especially, the desire for developing their discipline differently. To make of it a sport 100% clean and democratic, accessible to all the sections of population, whatever their incomes or their origins.
