THE FMVB, AN ANTI-DOPING SPEARHEAD Lausanne, 17 August - The FMVB (WORLD VOLLEYBALL AND BEACH VOLLEYBALL FEDERATION) will launch an immediate application of the anti-doping controls that respond to all the international requirements of the matter for the occasion of its next WVBFPro-series tournament to be held in Lugano, Switzerland on August 24-26. By way of the clinic “Health +” to be delivered by Dr. Mikael Schröder, health partner and president of its medical commission, the World Federation presided by the Swiss Mr. Jean-Pierre Seppey, will establish a professional control mechanism that will be in conformity with the ethics and morals of sports which he defends. For the occasion of this tournament, the President of the « World Sport Ethics Commission », an independent body of the FMVB, Professor Honoris Causa Hans-Peter Graf, will see to it that all the procedures for anti-doping control will go about smoothly. He will also be available to answer any questions that the press, media, or athletes may bring up about this top-priority battle. |
