SUCCESS OF THE FIRST FIABVB GALA “JUMP FOR SOLIDARITY” (Montreux, 1st September 06) – The FIABVB in the process of formation ( Fédération Internationale des Associations de Beach Volleyball et de Volleyball) welcome last Thursday, the 31st august, at the Beau Rivage Palace in Lausanne, her friends and partners for the first charity Gala “ Jump for Solidarity”. With the presence of “Jump for Solidarity” Patrons, His Excellency Abbas Bamanga, Ambassador of Tchad Republic in Switzerland, and the famous Swiss Federal Polytechnicum University Professor Pierre Keller, Lausanne University of Art and Design Director, the prestigious dinner gathered more than 100 high distinguished guests and received very important funds in favor of many Oceania, Africa and South America Volleyball National Associations. All Pierre Keller offered personal paintings’ collection was sold by auction with an enormous success. On behalf of the Committee, Jean-Pierre Seppey and Didier Chauvigny have reported on the actual FIABVB operations and solidarity actions notably the already made shipments of sports equipments and material to many Oceanian, African and south American Volleyball National Associations. They took also the opportunity to thank warmly and officially their key partners: Banque Cantonale Vaudoise, Texner and AXIUS XEROX. Other prestigious international partners are negotiating actually exclusive partnerships with FIABVB. Accompanied by famous Volleyball and Ski athletes, political authorities, national and international leaders of the economy and the finance, many media representatives, Messrs Seppey and Chauvigny have also informed of the Federations and Organizations supporting their movement. Mentioning the future founding Congress, they presented to the whole enthusiastic assembly the transparency, democracy and ethics principles and guarantees which govern the new international institution for the 100 % ethical and sport Beach Volleyball and Volleyball development in the world.
